DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE THROUGH SERVING

Here we focus on using the talents and abilities that God has given us to serve others in the church. You accomplish this by discovering your unique motivations and spiritual gifts and using them on a Ministry Team to serve others. Every person has a purpose, unique gifts, talents, and motivations, and is created to serve.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” - 1 Peter 4:10 (NLT)

Our goal is to be Christlike, and one of the best ways to do that is to serve others. Jesus demonstrated this when He humbled Himself and washed his disciples' feet. He also clearly stated that He came to serve others, and we are to follow His example.

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Matthew 20:28 (NLT)

Ministry Teams are people gathered together to serve within the church. People serving are vital to Hope Church, and we look to them to facilitate and potentially lead the ministries we have created to help make disciples who make disciples.
